What is love?
It isn’t something that has limits,
Distance doesn’t affect love,
Time doesn’t affect love,
It is patient,
It is persistent,
It isn’t control,
It is freedom with security,
It can’t be destroyed,
But it can be created,
It is just a connection,
It may have already existed,
It may be a new connection,
It doesn’t cost anything,
It isn’t heavy,
It lifts you up,
It doesn’t take,
It just gives,
It doesn’t take up space,
It just fills space,
With music,
Resonance,
Vibrations,
Like the ones in your heart,
It is the music of the universe,
That’s all the universe is,
That is why I have enough love for everyone,
Love is free,
And I make it out of nothing.

Wow! That poem is the best description I ever read for love. Absolutely Lovely. Especially love the words, “It doesn’t take up space, It just fills space”…
Thanks! That was the seed for the poem too, the rest flowed from there. I’ve had bits and pieces of it laying around on scraps of paper and in my head for years. It felt good to get out.
I am so glad you did. It will be an enduring work. :))
Thank you.
